Cynthia (Jibb) (1962 – ) and John Crowley (1958 – )

Cynthia and John’s four children have been active in the farm and were all 4-H champion showpeople. Through succession planning, the Crowley’s two sons have become partners in the farm’s operation. In 2017 they built a state-of-the-art freestyle barn with three robotic milking units.
Cynthia and John are active volunteers. Cynthia served as Peterborough County 4-H Director, Lactanet delegate, is involved in their church and the Norwood Fair. John was a 4-H leader and chaired Peterborough County’s Milk Committee and Holstein Club. In 2015, John received the Peterborough County Agricultural Leadership Award. The Crowley’s are longstanding exhibitors at the Peterborough Exhibition, Norwood Fair and Royal Agricultural Winter Fair.
John serves as a Holstein Canada judge. He has judged shows across North and South America, Europe, and South Korea. In 2013 he judged Canada’s most prestigious Holstein Show at the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair.
The Crowley’s were Peterborough County Farm Family of the Year in 2003 and received the Ontario Farm Family Award at the 2017 International Plowing Match.
